BitSkins stays open!

Hello everyone, we’re thrilled to announce that Bitskins has a new team!

We’re a group of people who have devoted our lives to the world of gaming and it is our pleasure to be able to be a part of your experience and make a positive change.

We’d like to continue building this iconic site and offer users a seamless experience. A lot of things are going to be changing for good, and we’re going to share a few of our starting ideas and short-term plans with you:

First of all, it is important to mention that while the team behind Bitskins has changed, sensitive user information was not transferred to us (i.e. information requested to unlock certain features of the site), so we ask for your patience while we review your applications again. If you were previously verified on Bitskins, sending the same information you had previously provided will most likely be enough. During the first stages of the transition we’ll devote extra time into this so that everyone can access all sites features as soon as possible.

Now onto our plans for the near future, we’ve devoted time into reading and collecting suggestions from users’ comments about changes and additions to the site, and we’re ready to make them a reality!

As many of you know, sales fees were set to be increased since the start of October. While a change in sales fees will happen (on October 14th), they will not be increased to the point that was previously mentioned. There will be various plans that will go from 10% down to 5% depending on your total salve volume.

Cryptocurrencies are making a return! Depositing and withdrawing cryptocurrencies will be possible again! Deposits will be available very shortly and withdrawals will be implemented in within a week as we work out the final details.

The $2.000 purchase and maximum item listing amount will be removed as well!

One (if not the most) requested feature was a better advanced search to look for items more specifically. We’ve gathered the most requested search filters and will focus on implementing them as soon as possible, a few examples are: float ranges, stickers applied into a gun (up to 4 per search, in specific positions), pattern index or paint seed, exact skin name, and more.

More great and useful features will follow, as we aim to create a simple yet effective site that has lets you sell and buy the skins you want with ease.

During this transition process, support inquiries can take up to 6 days to be answered, please bear with us as we go through all messages one by one!

The usual transaction methods will be temporarily disabled as we wait for the required paperwork to be ready. This can be a tedious process and can take a while, we expect to have all methods available within one month. We apologize for the inconveniences this may cause.
Skin withdrawals, purchasing and listing, as well as cryptocurrencies deposits will be enabled today.
