How To Buy And Sell on BitSkins.com

Welcome to BitSkins, where you can safely buy and sell your CS:GO, TF2, and DOTA 2 skins & items for real money! BitSkins.com is a bot marketplace, so there is no risk of prevalent scams without marketplaces. We have millions of skins on our platform, all available for purchase, and if you want to cash out your skins, you can use our quick and secure cashout method. Before heading to our marketplace to check out all these excellent features, read this short guide explaining how to buy and sell skins using BitSkins.com.

Sign-up

Simply click the button, log in with your steam account, agree to BitSkin’s terms and conditions, verify your email, and enter your Steam Trade URL, and you are all set to start buying and selling skins!

Selling Skins

If you don’t have any balance on the site and don’t want to use a credit card, cryptocurrency, or other forms of depositing balance, you can also sell your skins to earn a balance on the site. Simply click the “Sell Items” button, which will direct you to a selling page where you can select items from your inventory and list them for sale. Then input the price you want to sell the item for, and press “OK.” You will then be prompted to open your trade offers on Steam to send the skin to a BitSkins bot. Simply go to your trade offers and find the trade offer from a BitSkins Bot. To avoid scams, ensure that the sign-up date of the BitSkins Bot matches the one provided by BitSkins. Once you send the skins, they will instantly be listed on the BitSkins site, and once they are sold, you will be credited with the balance. BitSkins takes up to a 10% fee for selling items, but the more you sell, the lower the fee!

Avoiding Scams When Selling Skins

Unfortunately, as with many CS:GO markets, there is always the risk of bad actors taking advantage of people to steal their skins. While BitSkins has done everything we can to ensure that these scams do not occur, they occasionally may arise, so it is essential to keep the following things in mind when you are selling skins:

Before accepting a trade with a BitSkins Bot, make sure that the bot is a part of the official "BitSkins, Inc: Bot" Steam Group. This will ensure that your skins go to an official BitSkins Bot, not an impersonator. If someone tries to convince you that the bot is not part of our official Steam Group due to a bug, this is a lie, so do not accept any trades with them.

Also, remember that BitSkins staff members will never contact you through Discord or Steam direct messages. If you have any issues with buying, selling, depositing, or withdrawing on BitSkins, you can resolve them through a support ticket or by joining our official Discord server.

Depositing Balance

If you don’t have any Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Team Fortress 2, or Dota 2 items to sell or would instead deposit money to gain balance on the platform, there are multiple methods by which you can do so. Simply click the “Balance” button in the top right of your screen and select from various deposit methods. BitSkins accepts payments in the form of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, ZEN Pay (Trustly, BLIK, and many more), Credit Cards (VISA and Mastercard), and Gift Cards, which can be purchased from Kinguin or G2A.

KYC Procedure

You must complete a KYC (Know Your Customer) procedure to deposit a balance using cryptocurrency or a credit card. This procedure is required by anti-money laundering regulations and allows BitSkins to verify who you are. To start the KYC procedure, click “Start KYC.” You will receive an email requesting the following information:

- Full Name
- Residential Adress
- Date of Birth
- An Image of Your Government-Issued ID
- An Image of You Holding the ID and a Paper With Your Name, the Date, and “BitSkins.com”

Remember that this information is highly confidential and will not be shared with anybody outside the BitSkins team. Once you reply to the email with the information requested, your KYC credentials will be looked at by BitSkins Staff, and within 24 hours, you can deposit and withdraw money on BitSkins.

Note: Gift Cards don't require KYC.

Buying skins

To buy skins on BitSkins, type the name of the skin you are looking for and browse through thousands of skins. You can also look at the “Featured Items” option for great deals and popular items. For a more specific skin search, select the “Advanced Options” button and use the options provided to narrow down the results and sort by price, featured, date added, and float. Once you find a skin that interests you, you can look at a screenshot of the skin, add it to your favorites, inspect it in-game, and more. Once you find the item(s) you want, add them to your cart, and once you finish shopping, go to your cart to purchase the items. Press “check out” and confirm your selection; the skins are yours!

Withdrawing Skins

After purchasing skins, you will be redirected to the Withdraw Items page, where you can withdraw the skins from the BitSkins Bot into your steam inventory. For skins on a trade hold, you may have to wait for a few minutes-days before withdrawing the items, but once they are ready, select the items you wish to withdraw and press withdraw. You will then be redirected to your Steam Trade Offers, where you can accept the skins from the BitSkins Bot.

Similarly, if you decide to remove an item you want to sell, doing so will send the skin to the Withdraw Items page, where you can withdraw it the same way as if you had bought the skin.
